1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. Alongside cookies, we also use your browser's local storage (localStorage) for a similar purpose — below we describe both technologies together as "cookies".
2. Which cookies we use
Necessary (always active)
We store your consent choice regarding analytics cookies in localStorage (technical key lecimy_consent_v1), so we don't have to ask again on every visit. This storage is necessary for the consent banner to work and does not require your consent — legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in operating the site lawfully).
Statistical (only with your consent)
If you click "Accept" in the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager. Google then sets cookies in your browser (e.g. _ga, _ga_*) used to distinguish visitors and analyze traffic on the site — for example, which pages are visited and where traffic comes from. This data is aggregated and is not used by us to identify you by name.
Until you give consent, these cookies are not set — this is enforced through Google Consent Mode v2, with analytics storage denied by default.
Marketing
We currently do not use marketing or advertising cookies (e.g. Meta Pixel). If this changes, we will update this policy before enabling such tools and ask for your separate consent.
3. Managing your consent
On your first visit you'll see a banner with three options: "Accept", "Reject", and "Settings". Refusing consent is just as easy as giving it and does not restrict access to the site's content.
You can change your decision at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings (which removes the saved choice, so the banner will appear again on your next visit) or by clearing cookies directly in your browser:
